So basically the vets get the nod?

Can Nash even make it through training camp in one piece...

Honestly think Nash will only play 15-20 mins a game if he plays at all.

Jeremy will get some starts during the season and what he does with his minutes will show Byron Scott who plays in crunchtime.

I think Jeremy will have a decent year with a bigger opportunity.

Good call by Scott. Relegating lin to the bench where he belongs.

How dare you?! Jeremy Lin deserves to be a starter and can average 30 ppg and 15 apg if it wasn't for racist NBA coaches and players

Better for Nash to start. He gets to play while he's still warmed up.

Lin will get his chance. I'm going to root for the guy, but I don't think he'll be able to do much without complementary players.

I think Byron Scott will switch it up sometimes as in have Nash start some games and have Lin start some games.

As long as Nash is healthy I didn't expect any different.

Yea, but it'll be more necessity than choice.

And Lin thought he was going to start? If the guy can't start for a lottery team and ahead of a crippled 40 year old Nash, I don't know what to say...

This is stupid. Who cares. The goal should be for Lin to learn and get better. Also there is no disrespect in Nash starting. He is a future hall of famer.

Lin should honestly be starting. Nash won't even last two weeks without a major injury or a plethora of minor ones.

Nash's problem is not he can not perform, but rather how long he can... I am not surprised to see Nash starts...

Jeremy will start sooner rather than later, I'm sure. Can Nash even jog?

STFU damn you're obnoxious. How many times are you going to post in this thread? Nobody is even talking to you lol. Lin is more successful and has more money than you ever will, why don't you go on twitter and cry about it.

The key phrase here is "penciled in". People are overreacting to something that is being done as a sign of respect to Steve Nash before training camp. I doubt that Nash will be the starter during the 1st game against the Rockets.
