While I know Morey is a man of business does anyone think that he will keep Powell over Covington if future deals suffice purely to satisfy Dwight? Or do you think he'd trade him regardless of his relationship with one of our franchise players? (Dwight and Powell are childhood friends etc.) <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/mHtBcz0Nuak" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Interesting when the interviewer asked that question about how has McHale been beneficial to the big men of the team Dwight just laughed and pointed at Josh Powell.
Hmmm...I wouldn't think too much into it..Dwight could have been laughing at giving Josh Powell question answer duty rather than the question itself
Dwight says, "It's amazing being able to play with somebody that you truly cherish as a person." This is an obvious shot at Morey, who doesn't cherish players as persons and only cherish Josh Powell as an non-guaranteed contract.
True, this is the first thing that thing that I noticed during the interview (besides the context of the questions) But we'll have to see when the season comes around...we all know from D12's past experiences if he wants someone gone he'll let it be known(Van Gundy and D'ntoni for Phil Jackson)...he's a goofy guy haha I doubt it's anything serious
I mean, it could just be something simple like they talked before about how McHale always gets brought up in interviews and so he laughed to tell Josh Powell I told you so. So it might not really have anything to do with McHale directly. I was just curious as to why the mention of McHale caused that reaction.
The vid I posted may play a role in future trades that could happen as a result of the Terry trade, I thought it was interesting so I shared it...Just so happens that Mchale was mentioned in it hahaha
interviewer asked them "you guys coached kevin mchale" instead of "your guys coach kevin mchale." maybe dwight found that funny who knows. If I was morey and saw this I would fire him though
