Watch The Coca-Cola Kid (1985). A hilarious flick that is also wildly sexy. I won't attempt to describe it, except to say that it's one of Eric Roberts' best roles during his younger days, and that the amazingly hot Greta Scacchi is at her most beautiful (and you get full frontal!). An independent film by a truly great director, DuĊĦan Makavejev, that flew under the radar when it came out. Made in Australia. Just see it, folks. You'll thank me later.
Just saw "For the Bible Tells Me So". Wow.....it's very powerful! This documentary examines the ways in which conservative Christian groups have used -- and sometimes exploited -- scripture to deny human rights.
Get the blurays. The quality difference (and updated CGI) makes the production quality match the story/actors.
Bojack Horseman mentions the Rockets very briefly right after the opening credits in episode four. The show itself is pretty funny especially if you're a Will Arnett fan.
Happy Valley - If you like the BBC cop shows, this will fill up 6 solid hours with decent entertainment.
I love cartoons, knocked out the season in a week, nice little clever comedy, will watch the the next one when/if released.
The show gets even better in season 2, I would strongly recommend this to people who didn't watch it when it was on originally.
can't get enough of Friday night lights right now... Such a damn good show and probably one of network TVs last great shows.
Fracknation. Starts out powerful but gets caught in ad homenins and emotional appeals. Overall it jus worth watching to gain a better perspective on the phenom of cracking than what is portrayed in Gasland and by certain media outlets.
The League Season 5 just got added. I didn't keep up with Season 4 so I'm honestly not sure if the quality has declined, but I loved this show and am probably going to start watching these 2 seasons I've missed.
