That will come. The athleticism is there and that pass he made on a possession or two ago was nice, even if they missed the shot.

I think some players will start to leave the team after this injury..and I'm hoping harden and durant are leading the way

Really? The same stuff could have happened at the Drew League or the Goodman League or Fonde or one of the many offseason pickup games players participate in with each other at random gyms.

If you want to do away with injury risk, the players basically have to play no actual basketball in the offseason.

i think about this all the time, and the offseason frightens me because harden is active on the court

i just hope that this is a wake up call to cool it a little and to take more precaution

Does this further dissuade Harden from playing D?

Nah. Harden doesn't jump on D. He just needs to move his feet and that'd make me happy.

Yeah, this type of injury can happen to anyone. But I do want Harden to have a more perimeter based game for the regular season to keep himself fresh. Then turn up the driving in the postseason. The way he eurosteps into the paint seems like an accident waiting to happen all the time.

He has already hurt his ankles a few times by doing this. But you can't really tell him to stop. Things happen.

Picture a 90 degree angle. His ankle and foot were the base.

Well, he could to less of it, less pressure on that ankle. This is part of why I'm desperately hoping all the "inside" info on Dragic is true. Because that would really help Harden take a load off on offense. If he's willing, I can see Harden becoming a great player off the ball too. He certainly has the skills for it.
