So, game stars in about an hour. Will be on the road, expect a full clutch fans writeup and maybe batkins style highlight video afterwards. ;-)

    The game just started!
A nice chance to see our brothers Lithuanians going against my home country - but of course I have to work.
    Go Donuts!

It was said DMO won't be playing in the first game.

Lithuania is looking much better than Latvia.

but we are in America and Donuts are SOFT. And can anyone actually confirm this? Does donuts really mean "kick ass". Lol at "kick ass" being the foundation of a nickname. What are we, 12?

Seriously I googled and haven't found anything where his nickname was "donuts", before he came to the Rockets. I've only seen clutchfans call him that.

its very lame and i cringe every time somebody calls him "donuts"

That's good. He may need some rest.
I don't want to see the same thing happened to Yao happen again

McHale could learn a thing or two watching Lithuania play. Great team effort on offense, very solid defense, especially after forcing tunrover, great excecution on fast breaks. All player are involved, SOME NICE PLAYS on the offense.

Also, Morey could scout Kalnietis, who is captain and our best rated player at pg position. I think he would be a great back up for Bev. (only my two cents)

Also Kuzminskas is a good sf with great length and defense.

Loving the first game so far, much better team than Latvia.

Yeah it does. I am actually a native Lithuanian speaker and "donuts" definitely means kickass. I also have a bridge to sell you.

What what, but DMO was never an injury prone. Neither in Europe, neither on NT, neither in NBA, yet. A small injury might acure, but I doubt he would beome a prone one :)

Yao Ming was perfectly healthy in his first three years. Mishap only caught up in him from the 4th year and on. What NBA year is Donuts currently in?

Donatas has a lot less miles than Yao for obvious reasons.

Very true. But extra care will never be a bad thing.

The extra ~40 lbs that Yao put on in the first few years might have more detrimental effect to his legs. Irrelevant in this thread though.

I am of the mind that "Donuts" is pretty much the best nickname ever. Every time I think about it I laugh. It's hilarious, and I hope he blows up this year and that nickname sticks.

It would be smart for Motiejunas to accept nickname of Donuts. It may get him contract with some doughnut company to do comercials once he would have name in NBA...
