Exum looks like the next great shooting guard in this league. His vision and his first step makes him nearly unguardable. Add to that his savvy at 19 and this kid is going to be huge. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/kod-WZbeYFI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Get on the bandwagon while you can, great player with a killer instinct and has to win. It still makes me laugh when reporters and posters say he was hiding in aus and avoiding college because he didn't want his stock to fall. If anything he would have had the oppurtunity to improve his draft stock and be a top 3 pick
Well it did seem that way though. You can understand why people felt that way. One would have expected him to find his way to Europe if he didn't want to go the college route.
It's not like scouts and gm's WERNT watching him, he was playing basketball all the time.. Just because it wasn't on espn doesn't mean it didn't happen
None other than Rudy Gobert. Dude has a 7'9" wingspan! Glad to see he's finally coming along, Kanter has been a disappointment.
Agreed, no hiding. Dante was very close to going to IU. I was hoping DE would have given the Hoosiers one year if I'm being selfish. I think Dante obviously has a very bright future.
Not really seeing the hype in Exum. I don't know if it comes from having been a PG for 18 years.. But none of what he does screams legendary... They seem like basic passes. Especially the one in the first half of the video where he dishes to a guy cutting to the hoop, in which the commentator gushes over. To me, there's nothing special about that play.

Maybe he becomes what everybody thought Evan Turner would be. I see a little bit of that, a little bit of a bigger Andre Miller, a little bit of Brandon Roy, etc. He has a lot of work to do though, but you see the raw skills there for an 18/19 year old.
I think he knows that he needs to get stronger and that he needs to work on his shooting. Right know he isn't finishing as well as you'd like him to, but his ability to blow past you is Tim Hardaway-like. The kid just has an amazing skillset.
Hand him the keys. He may be the best player in his draft class. Right now in my opinion he is. Hand the boy the keys. (this is the guy I would have traded up in the draft to get.)
I played against him when I was 17 and he was 13. He did nothing lol, his brother torched us. Crazy that he was 13 playing in the under 18's competition though
Looks like a great prospect. Love his motor and his ball handling/playmaking. His first step is crazy. I agree Orlando should've grabbed this guy. Utah had a pretty good draft with Exum and Hood.
