Just at how bad this thread is. We've only lost Jeremy Lin and a late round pick but replaced it with 4 years of Trevor Ariza.
Harden has already surpassed Melo. I'm not sure I like his odds on passing Durant though. But there's no shame in that.
Lin isn't a big loss. Asik's replacement could be found in a Jermaine O'neal esque player. Parsons is going to be matched
Look on the bright side, maybe the Pelicans will give us Austin Rivers in the Asik deal. Can't rely on Nick 'The Answer' Johnson.
Houston did get something out of those 3 players: a NBA journeyman and cap space to overpay average players.
Well, this sucks. One of the worst offseason yet. Or, maybe we are just spoiled. I'm not happy Bosh --- you screwed us over.
LOL, what backup PG do you have in mind?? Jermaine O'Neal is nothing like Asik....and goodbye Parsons. This is what you call 3 swings and a miss here Strikeout!
Once again we're filled with extremists on Clutchfans. Yes we are spoiled. Two summers in a row of Morey gambling and paying off and now the first summer in a while where it didn't work. Stop jumping off the cliff guys. If anything, the NBA is starting to even out in talent and not be so top heavy. This is good. We now have money to fill it up with great role players that are specialists to cover up for the weak spots of Howard and Harden.
