What was the reason behind Prince doing it? And I would assume to get more fans / to get more recognition, would be the primary reason for doing this. Outside their respective sports, I doubt people know who they are. Snowboarding fans wouldn't know that was Serge Ibaka, and NFL fans wouldn't know that was Nigel Slyvester. Not sure why the more famous people are doing it though, like Phelps and Williams.
Why wouldn't they do it? It's not p*rn or degrading...I'm pretty sure most athletes consider it an honor to be asked to be a part of it. The majority already spend a lot of time half naked in locker rooms or in their uniforms. And with all the air brushing they do, all their flaws are hidden anyway.
Why did they even out a baseball player in this? I mean, yea, celebrate our god given bodies, everyone's beautiful, yada yada, but why a fat guy? WHY
If you had a body like Ibaka are you telling me you would need to be persuaded to take part in it? You wouldn't be walking around shirtless everywhere? lol.

The Williams sisters are two of the manliest females I've seen. I guess some guys appreciate that. Not my cup of tea though. I'm not averse to some muscle on a woman. Jessica Biel for example is sexy as hell.
Kudos to Gary Player for being willing to do this, keeping himself in that kind of shape at his age and for not buckling to the apparent trend to shave off every last wisp of body hair, whether you're a guy or a girl.
It's good photography for one. I enjoy it just from that perspective alone. On top of that, good looking people with good physiques. What's not to like?
Plenty not to like if you're straight. Sorry if that's a 5 years ago viewpoint but I'm sure most people agree even if they won't admit it. If liking to see pictures of naked dudes is cool then I'll just have to be an outcast.
