    Love it.

If we add a veteran 4 who can defend with a fraction of the rest of our cap room (maybe Brand?), we're going to have a ton of versatility from 2 thru 4.

They should sign Shawn Marion. He is an elite defender that can guard LMA

Exactly, people are so sensitive to "this guy isn't worth this contract" argument. If that's your philosophy you'd have superstars on your team and no one else, because you have to overpay to get significant pieces.

Did Ariza prepare an essay for his homecoming?

Ariza is the type of player the Rockets should be signing/developing to round out the roster. This is a guy with very specific, elite skills that fit perfectly alongside Howard and Harden. Perimeter defense and shooting just got upgraded.

Good signing. Nothing to brag about though.

I hope we get Boozer (when the Bulls amnesty him). At least he can post up and get boards.

3 and D. That's all he has to do.

If Ariza is handling the ball on our team, we are in trouble regardless. He will be arguably the 6-7th option for ball handling duty, so it should never be an issue. this is not like before where we brought him in to be option 1 or 2.

I expect them to and then to trade one of them at the deadline. I hope Ariza understands that it a very strong possibility.

How about defending him right from the start sound? :)

Yeah I would take him. I was thinking about absorbing him then matching Parsons. I don't think we'll be in play to sign him once he's amnestied. We need something at the 4. A 4 that can play some 5 would be nice too.

LMA played two games where he was making shots falling out of bounds that will never happen again. After those games he went from unhuman to just good

Nope, people realize Rockets will go hard after a big name PG (Dragic, Bledsoe, Rondo) to create that O and have Bev as a backup.

Parsons 16 ppg in McHale's offense can be easily recreated, especially with a real PG
