His mind has already been made up, he is going to Cleveland. We are just waiting on the official announcement. I guess Bosh does not want to take the spotlight away from LeBron.
If LeBron leaves for Cleveland. Miami will have enough cap space to offer Bosh the max and he can stay in south beach and be the man. That could also be a reason why Bosh is waiting. I don't think he's too excited about playing in his home state and being to close to his family.
Would think the teams in the Southwest division and the rest of the West are praying Lebron stays in Miami and Bosh re-ups over there. A front line of Howard, Bosh and Parsons wouldn't be fun to face come playoff time.
We. Need. This. To. Happen. I'm on edge. Not the route we all hoped for, but as long as it gets done...
I think all this stalling by Bosh is to see if he maybe could join LeBron in Cleveland. Maybe a SnT with Miami for cheap young talent from Cleveland? It's not a bad thought if Minny won't trade Love. Riley knows that if LeBron leaves that Wade and Bosh are not enough to win it all. If you're not going to contend then you might as well collect cheap young assets and picks.
At this point I say just ditch the whole Bosh plan now. There are other ways to improve this team if Bosh does not come and you lose Parsons.
Yes, you still wouldn't the MLE, for this offseason. If we become over the cap without signing any free agents with our cap space, we are still eligible for MLE. If we sign a player for 20 million, or even 5 million with our cap space we will no longer be eligible, even if we are in the cap after the signing.
I suspect that Morey is NOT at the Summer League if he is trying to buy an extra 24 hours by ducking service of the Parsons contract. Every hour matters.
