Glad I'm not the only one who believes this. I just shake my head when local news channels run a story on her and call her "Houston's own Beyonce". I can't recall anytime she's repped The H on a national level. First one I thought of too  Unless, of course we also want to say he only reps when convenient (Mene Gene voice: "from Death Valley...weighing in at 328 pounds!")
I know he wasn't born in Houston, being from Tyler, that he lives in Austin, and that he didn't retire from the Oilers, but damn, he was incredible! Easily the best running back I've ever seen play. Many, many years ago I went to his house in Westlake and cleaned his aquarium. I got to chat with Earl for a few minutes and shake his hand. What a thrill!
You used to clean aquariums lol? Can you start a thread that lists all of the odd jobs you have done and let people ask you about them?
I worked at a fish shop (tropical fish being a hobby of mine) for a while to see if it was a realistic option to open one of my own. Decided it wasn't (not enough money in it, lots of hours). One of the things we did was go to someone's house and clean their tank, if they were willing to pay for the service. I only did that a few times, but one of those times I went to Earl's place in Westlake Hills, here in Austin. I've done a lot of different things, the most lucrative being something I don't really enjoy doing (which is what I've spent the most time doing, of course). And no, I won't start a thread about my work history. ;-)-
I just found out Michael Strahan was from Houston. Only found out cause of that huge TSU billboard on 45.
