what game where you guys watching? Colombia has been the most consistent team this whole cup. Brasil has yet to play a good game and this was their best performance. They canceled out James and Cuadrado the first 60 minutes. Even the casual observer can see Colombia/Brasil was the better game. Germany struggled against a weak French team that no one had high hopes for. Nevertheless Germany will be the favorite for many going into the semis with Thiago on the bench. If Neymar is not there, be ready for Oscar to step up.

Spanish refs let too many calls go. Players got aggressive because they knew it was open season on Neymar. There was no call even on the play where Neymar was injured. I blame this on the ref more than the player who injured Neymar.
Agreed. The ref was terrible. Failed to establish control at the beginning of the match and it got out of control. He should never be allowed to ref a meaningful game again. The open season was not exclusive to Neymar. Brazil was after James all game themselves and were intentionally bringing him down whenever given a chance. This WC, Brazil has been playing like Italy.
