It states that among competing hypotheses, the one with the fewest assumptions should be selected. Other, more complicated solutions may ultimately prove correct, but—in the absence of certainty—the fewer assumptions that are made, the better.

HOU is excluded from the finalists, which can mean 2 things: 1. LeBron is not interested in HOU 2. Hou has least question marks or assumptions...
I think Houston is fully focused on Carmelo first, so that might be the reason why we were not invited. But if we missed on Carmelo, I am sure we would get invited.
This is what I was thinking in the back of my mind... but STILL Beverley should talk to LeBron and say: "Hey man... Our owner is willing to go over the luxury tax to sign at least two max players... Melo is Plan "A"... So we wanted to present to you with an even bigger presentation: You have James Harden + Dwight Howard from last season Then add in Carmelo Anthony, our newest Rocket this offseason... As you can see, we are willing to do whatever it takes to win, and would like to sign you to a max deal, along with Melo... What do you say man?
