Sorry but this doesn't make any sense. 1: First, you say your team is more explosive? Teague-Gordon-Dunleavy-Monroe-Bogut starting five with Crawford-Afflalo-Marshall is more explosive than Thomas-Kittles-Batum-Thad-Cousins plus J Rich-Horry-Henson? That statement doesn't make any sense at all, no one in their right mind would say your line-up is more athletic or explosive. Dunleavy-Monroe-Bogut is an incredibly slow and unathletic front court, Crawford and MArshall off the bench don't help. Compare that to Thomas-Kittles(watch his tapes!)-Batum-Thad-Cousins plus an athletic freak in J Rich and Henson off the bench is 10x more explosive than your guys. 2. You say you have legit 20+ scorers, but all you can mention is Gordon and Crawford. Do you realize I have one of the highest ppg PGs right now in Thomas, a Kittles who always turned it on when necessary, a 6th man scoring beast in J Rich, an athletic Thad vs. your Monroe and one of the best offensive centers in Cousins? Plus Horry off the bench who can knock down tons of 3s when given the opportunity? 3. I don't have scorers that would give your D trouble? Uhmm...do you really think Teague can shut down Thomas? Eric Gordon, Dunleavy and Crawford(lol) can defend Kittles, J Rich and Batum? Monroe has no problems vs. Thad, Horry and Henson? 4. You really think you'd net more points in the context of my 3rd point about the matchups, especially when I have the best defenders at the wing positions and that's where all your scorers are? You are trying to make it sound like you have more firepower, when ppg and the starting line-up clearly contradicts your statement. Bench is a wash scoring-wise. Looking at the scoring numbers of our players I even slightly lead, especially in the starting five and when looking at defensive capabilities and matchups. Slightly worse offense plus considerably worse defense doesn't net you more points anyhow.
For a minute, I was tempted to think who's a worse man defender, Bargnani or Camby. Which probably tells what I think of Camby. Bargnani plays decent man defense at times, just completely clueless when it comes to help and rotations. Anyway, I think Camby was a bad man defender. He chased blocks and rebounds and left his man a lot, hardly ever closed on his man outside the post but he was also very easy to back down in the post as well. A soft stats w****. I know Denver fans who simply hated him. He was a great weakside shot blocker, and that got him all-defense appearances and DPOY award. As to some of those numbers not being fantastic -- well, I didn't nitpick players or games. I just listed top centers from basketball reference for that year. So sure, a few of them were just slightly above average, but I'd say overall those are telling numbers.

I'm sorry those are just false statements. Best scoring seasons in 2000 in terms of PPG Isiah - 20.3 Kittles - 13.4 Batum -14.3 Young - 18.8 Cousins - 22.7 JRich - 23.2 Horry - 6.8 Henson - 11.1 vs Teague - 16.5 Gordon - 22.3 Dunleavy - 19.7 Monroe - 16.0 Bogut - 15.9 Crawford - 20.6 Afflalo - 18.2 Marshall - 16.2 Good luck to you.
Yup. And good looking too. I'm developing a man crush. More games like that, and I might start to love the D like jvu. And Robben... That shot that Casillas stopped at the end would've been a fantastic goal.
Like I said, my starting five is better offensively, you just proved that. Count in the fact that my best defenders are on your scorers and that your bench can't play together with the starting five and I'm better on both ends.
