Kevin Martin is too short and small to be a true Kevin. This is why Kevin McHale never bonded with him. And by the way, remember this one from the early days of people breaking news via twitter?
How about Atl receives- Asik Minn receives- Millsap, rockets picks, tjones+Fillers Hou receives-Love Flip lin for lowry in a s&t? With other picks or assets?
I would be so happh. Love is the ideal player next to Howard. I love Parsons but i would give him up in a heartbeat if it would mean we get Love.
http://dimemag.com/2014/05/report-k...on-will-opt-next-summer/#sthash.DHgdAgci.uxfs What Rubio said about Love's leadership: Locker room problems in Minny, eh? itshappening.gif
If Houston tries to go after Love.. watch out for a 3 team deal with ATL Houston gets: Love and Budinger (or Brewer) ATL: Asik and filler Minnesota: Millsap, Parsons, picks from Houston Of course we'd have to trade Jeremy Lin to get the room to obtain a contract that Minny would want to dump alongside Kevin Love.
Saying Martin should be the leader... they must be desperate. Luckely love does not have to be our leader.
to match salary asik and lin have to be involve in the deal but t-wolves don't need center and point guard only way to get love here is he told everyone he wont sign extension except for houston then t-wolves will need to find 3rd and 4th team to take asik and lin
A lot of moving pieces. If I were Morey the only one really "off limits" is Dwight Howard. Everyone else is an asset that can be moved if need be in the right deal-- and Harden is obviously the most valuable asset out of these. I would trade Harden for Love if 1) I know I can keep Love beyond next season and has a good chance at finding a replacement perimeter scorer, and 2) Harden is absolutely required to beat another team's trade offer. I would also trade Harden if, say, the Miami crew is breaking up and Lebron can be convinced to come to Houston-- or maybe if both Lebron and Bosh would come together-- if only the sign and trade and salaries work out.
Asik/Parsons/Jones/picks is a good offer. Warriors will offer Thompson/Barnes/filler and the Bulls will offer Gibson or Boozer/Mirotic/picks. None of the other teams really matter because they're terrible lottery teams without star players. The Rockets offer is competitive with those of the Warriors and Bulls.
I would give up Harden for Love. I personally believe Love's game and position is more suited for a contending team in today's NBA.
We need to be able to send Parson+Jones and a lottery pick around #8 or so. Most likely they will be offered a lottery pick in the 3-7 range regardless. Have to hope that the allure of Parsons and Jones can help with the compensation. Get Brewer as well and the team is set. Parsons+Lin+Jones+1st round lotto pick obtained from flipping Asik plus our 2014. for Love, Brewer Howard/Motiejunas Love/Defensive rebounder Brewer/Covington Harden/Daniels Beverly/Vet PG
Correct me if I'm wrong, but we can also offer more picks than GSW? Didn't they give some away last offseason?
