I am pretty disappointed like everyone else...wish Harden drove harder rather than settling for jump shots. Howard to assert dominance on someone like Lopez. Lin to stop turning it over at times. Parsons to learn to make an open 3. Jones to guard LA. Refs to stop calling the worst damn calls... but that is why I am a Rockets fan, and the series isn't over. Let's hope for a better outcome Game 2. Cheers and don't fight too much tonight guys. We got several more games to play...Sigh...
The thing is, they are ATTACKING him on the defensive side, so he's gonna be gassed on the offensive side. 28 shots is a ton, and if you're gonna shoot that much, you have to make sure the percentage is there. Not looking good, if this is Portland's plan of attack, brilliant move, I must say.
What? Most people put Houston win the series on 6 games. You'd have to be a huge homer to predict a sweep. And this team just lost by 2 points in OT despite questionable referees, LMA/Lillard went supernova, and Harden laid an egg. If Harden plays up to his normal standard we should take the series.

It's okay, fellas.... Harden has it all figured out, this is why there's no need for a hands-on, respectable coach (not former player, and HOF figure) to instill discipline into his still developing game..... Harden WANTED the to lose this one... You know how he likes to make things dramatic....
Harden will not suck like he did tonight, but the holes in his game are apparent. Literally ZERO defense (in a playoff game it gets magnified tenfold), porous midrange game, zero post game. Everything is a 3 or the basket.
We both want that to be true. If we're anything like Memphis in terms of mental toughness a few years back then this could be our implosion game.
