Yeh, I'm serious.... but the statement I made was moreso made because I just think Dwight's discretion and IQ on the court is not where it needs to be. That was just an excuse to make it known. Dwight panics sometimes and makes airheaded plays. And instead of manning up after calls go against him, he complains and doesn't get back on D.. I hate that.

 

The Rockets need to be careful...two game ones lost on home courts...teams are coming for the jugular, and the Rockets need to be ready tom night. Portland isnt laying down; we have to go and take it

I think once the Rockets take both at home, the Blazers will crumble. No experience.

My money is on the refs hitting Bev with 2 quick ones to take him out of the game and keep things close.

 

For those of us who are displaced Houstonians and can't make the game, PLEASE make some damn noise if you're attending. Give the guys the home court love! Let's go Rockets!

I agree, but how they call it for aldridge will also be a deciding factor as well as the effectiveness of the pick and roll for portland. Will they call touch fouls? Will they be allowed to jump straight up when he shoots even if aldridge initiates the comtact?

I think pulling jones out early if he cant cold his ground against aldridge for asik is a good idea. If jones sucks at it then asik and howard should take turns guarding him.

And last, will harden resort to trying to draw fouls in the 4th or trying to get buckets when they aren't calling it for him.

 

Haha, being a Rockets fan in the 00s decade wasn't easy.

That is exactly what I was thinking. Home Court is no advantage if you lose it the first game. Both the Nets and the Warriors now have HCA. If Rockets don't come ready to play, playoff intensity will catch you napping in a hurry.

The Hawks won too! Holy Smoke, what a crazy first day of the playoffs. Well, the Grizzlies aren't off to a good start.
