Good point. Gentleman off the court, pitbull on. I would replace Sura with Shane, Mad Max was a beast but quit on us in '95.
Kind words from Battier & Co. -- http://houston.cbslocal.com/2014/03...k-beverley-heat-not-surprised-by-his-success/
Missed the game but Pat Beverly is as important as Dwight on the defensive end. Love our team don't drink soda but bev makes me want to do the dew.
actually Jeremy Lin did a lot of little things for us last season too... but this season Lin seems less active in hustle plays... Lin has always been a player with a lot intangibles, but he is showing less and less in this team, don't know why...
Hahahaha... The ball didn't even hit iron. lol Great D by Bev, who is not only a dog, but a master PITBULL!!!
spacemoth, you brought those beautiful memories back. You captured our feelings and thoughts perfectly. Thank you. PatBev brings back the toughness that we lost with Chuck Hayes, Shane Battier, Carl Landry and Kyle Lowry moving on. Just stay healthy and stay out of fights. For a moment there, I thought Wade would pick a fight with him.
Anyone notice how Bev flicked the ball to himself after getting securing the opening tip? Showed confidence and swagger. Pat was ready for this game.
Five-Star Thread Bev is a beast defensively, sets a tone, and adds to our toughness. Great to have him.
Beverley the Pit Bull Terrier.. He's a Bully. Beverley is still technically a rookie by NBA playing time. Parsons wasn't a very good offensive player his rookie year. Bev looks to be getting more comfortable on the floor offensively and his offensive output as of late could be a glimpse of more to come. The Rockets need at least one of these point guards to step up offensively if they want to try to get through the western conference playoffs.
