on a last second clear-out, Brooks can easily get by his man or get an open step back jumper. I'm not saying go to him the whole game. Doesn't anyone remember how well he did in this situation when he was starting for the Rockets.

Does anyone remember how bad he was starting for us when his shots WEREN'T falling? The guy literally offers us nothing when he is not hitting threes. There was a reason the board was so divided on who should start between AB and a new Lowry who could barely shoot back then.

ok just to play devil's advocate.

I know this is like old history, but hey a record is a record.

Lin's start as a starter are an actual NBA record.
Here are the top four scorers in their first four NBA

Jeremy Lin - 27.3 points per game
    Allen Iverson - 25.3 ppg
    Shaquille O'Neal - 25.0 ppg
    Michael Jordan - 24.8 ppg

Oh god, Muh 10 game fluke streak from 2 years ago gets posted again, and again and again

I wonder Brandon Jennings fans still post about his 55 point rookie game

Even back when he was good, he was back in the clutch because he runs in like a headless chicken most of the time and the refs don't like to call fouls on him during crunch time.

No. Our closer should be James Harden. As bad as he has been in late game situations, he's still our best option. And if our coach could actually run some plays then maybe we wouldn't have to resort to giving the ball to Harden and clearing out so often. I'd put Lin as second though. But it seems like McHale views Parsons as a closer. There have been times where we give the ball to Parsons, and he usually ends up losing it or doesn't get a good shot off.

Totally agree. You put your best offensive weapon to close the game. Last time, Mchail let Parsons closed the game, it was a total mess.

There shouldn't be 1 dedicated player to close the game, especially since we have so many offensive weapons. Letting Parsons take the final shot isn't a bad idea. Calling for him to ISO at the top of the key as the last shot is a terrible idea. You have to play to their strengths. Getting Parsons a catch and shoot play would make more sense.

    You guys are disgusting.

No better than the LOF that you guys been condemning.

Putting a player down to make the other player look better.

Lin had awful turnovers, but so does the rest of the team

Stop pointing fingers, you guys act like you're still in kindergarten.

Harden clutch shot made me jump like a little girl though.

    Clutch shot from the beard!

For the record I voted Beardsanity> Linsanity and I still feel he should get the ball to close, but such knee jerk reactions. This will get bumped with knee jerk reactions every time either of them make a play to successfully "close"

well it is a bit silly that the poll is 75~/25~ in favor of lin taking the last shot.
