Right on. Linwantsout is r****ded but whoever believes he is really a Lin fan is even more r****ded. IMO he could well be one of the LOFHs who made up this screenname to spit nonsense in order to stir up more hate against the Lin fans.
I've been under the mind set that the best players should start. but having thought about it, bev really should start and lin off the bench. lin can come in half way through q1 anf stay in till end of half pr so while having yhe offence play through him as a pg. this would allow harden to get subed out befor halftime and get some rest then lin can play sg and pv as pg. mchail was doing the right rotation, just that the roles was not efficient. keep the bev as starter line up and the same rotation between harden, bev and lin. but instead of harden as the facilitator, let lin be the pg when he is in with hard3n.
The Rockets strategy was correct as you stated. I have always felt that Jeremy needs to be the primary ball handler. His decision making was good against Boston and he needs to keep on attacking the basket when it's difficult for him to make an entry pass or when his shot isn't falling. When he is hesitant, he becomes ineffective. Defenses are and will continue to be geared to slow Harden down, Jeremy eased the pressure tonight with his aggressive and intelligent play.
Shaq was never a slouch in the post, he just realized that he was gifted with a body too fast, too strong, and too powerful for the vast, vast majority to ever even slow down, much less contain. While Dream clearly outplayed Shaq in that series, it's not like Shaq took their matches lying down either. 28/10/6 is a fantastic stat line.
If jeremy continues to run the PG as a PG and continues to perform, he will not remain a rocket past 2014. Lakers probably?
I really don't care, but I certainly would be happy if Lin was a life-time Rocket. I'm not going to fantasize about any Rocket player succeeding in a Laker jersey.
Too many fake fans on this thread If you don't have dream in your heart you don't have clutch city in your heart If you don't have clutch city you aren't a true clutchfan Clutchfans was named after clutch city
Les will pony up the cash to keep Lin. I don't think he will be a lifetime Rocket, but he will be here for a few more years atleast. As long as he can stay healthy and marketable.
Lin pretty much played the perfect game as per his role on the team. 16 points on just 7 shots 9 assists 3 steals Only 1 TO
whats so frustrating is that his weaknesses are largely just errors in judgement. The wandering defensively, the passing off his feet. When he plays controlled hes a very good PG. It always seems to be either of the extremes for Lin, passive as hell or too frenetic. Was good to see him find a happy medium today, was a big plus for the team
Lin plays aggressive when the support is there. Unfortunately, we can't count on his fans to have a presence in every arena.
Inconsistency always plagues young and inexperienced players, which Lin still is, especially in terms of NBA games as a starter. He's making very nice progress. Almost every weakness from last year has been improved to a significant degree.
I agree totally. We need to look at the positives more. Rome aren't built in one day. For young players, having coaching staff's confidence on you can go a long way.
Did anyone hear the boston broadcast when heinson said jeremy hadn't lived up to his contract because hess making "superstar money"? Lol 8 million a year for 3 years isn't superstar money.
