Totally agree with this. Jones has been doing work for what he's paid this season without the advantage of more years to his name. Sneaky fella he is quietly having a great game.

Other Players:
Dwight has been feasting this game against the Celtics front court, lovely that he made a fair chunk of his FTs. I coulda imagined the meltdown if he missed all of the 4Q free throws. Thank God it didn't happen.

Harden was sloppy in the first Q with his dribbling and crossovers. TO's early but made up for it in the next 3 Qs and i'm glad he did. Efficiency's been down a bit this game and he didn't get the usual amount of FTs, amazing.

Parsons started slow also but strike when you need him to. He had a couple of momentum changing/halting moments esp when it looked like the Celtics were about to make a run he stops it with a drive and layup.

Lin has been very efficient this game. Points of the shots he's taken and assists, wish he could do this every game. It seems this game he's allowed the ball in his hands more since the Wizards game. Not sure what McHale has been drinking but its paying off so far. Let's see if this keeps up.

Bench. What bench? Apart from contribution from our Ca$hp33 otherwise it's been a 5-6 man contrib kinda game. The usual wish is that Omer's healthy and at least putting a body down on the floor to change the shots other teams take.

One can only hope.

A win is a win nonetheless and i'll take what we get. Onward to the next game!

 

when we played the nets a couple of seasons ago and he went off on the rockets, like internet gms tend to do, they wanted us to give the farm for what was to be a superstar in the making with morshon.
funnier was the boston announcer comparing him to harden.

 

If we gets brooks we will have two Hardens! Good job from T Jones. Dwight is looking good inside now, he's definitely improved since the start of the season. Jones has a bright future. Good to know the team can still win even if Harden doesn't have a strong shooting night.

But it was the celtics ninth loss in a row. So let's not get to excited. OKC on the B2B is the real test.

Given the chance, most of our players have the potential to carry games. We have a lot of versatile talent, but instead of using it we almost always do isos when the game is close.

This team is close to championship caliber man; just need for them to keep growing and add a couple of more pieces along the way (back up center, PF primarily).

There would be two Brookses on the team, and both of them are black. So it would be confusing. Do not want.

Don't know what u guys think about it , but something has changed with the way mchale is using lin.

I think it has something to do with Finch as assistant coach having a more prominent role with Sampson on leave. I could be wrong but Finch is pretty high on lin...

Interesting.
Now we just need to see it work vs an elite team like our next game.

 

Hope no one like bashes me for this, but in a business aspect (trade deadline in one month), they might be trying to showcase his skills by letting him run the offense more. Personally, I hope that they keep him because of the defense/offense PG option you can go, but that's a possibility as to why Lin is getting the ball more.

 

past 2 games it seems as if McHale has decided to have the offense run through the PG position more.
