That broken English esl thing he has going on doesn't bother me much.

It's that Ray Lewis preacher sounding thing that annoys me. To me, and just my opinion, makes him sound ungenuine and a phony.

 

Also ungrateful. Forgot to thank his attorney, Willie Megs, and the cop who told the girl not to press charges.

Good game. A lot of people thought that Auburn would get crushed, so good for them that they made it into a close game. Looking forward to next year with the four team playoff. Only wish it were an eight or sixteen team format.

 

I was impressed by Winston last night....

after they scored and his defense was on the field for the final seconds, he was moving up and down the sidelines making sure everyone stayed back so they didn't end up with a dumb penalty. Seemed wise, particularly for a 19 year old. Seemed like a leader to me.

I meant the final drive reminded me of the VY/UT final drive against USC. And he kind of reminds me of VY in general. No, he did not have a great overall game, far from it.

 

When it's Bortles with the short pass and long run he's making good reads but when it's the black it's a different story. How predictable was it that I would open this thread and bigtexxx would be talking trash about Winston. It's like the sun rising in the morning. :grin:

 

I'm hoping the idiot who used the word uppity also had the ban hammer thrown. A lot of veiled and not-so-veiled racism in this thread.

 

How nonchalant was Brent Musburger and Kirk Herbstreit throughout the entire fourth quarter...especially the final two minutes. Seemed as though they were broadcasting at a senior women's golf tournament. Both of them seemed so disinterested in the outcome and had zero enthusiasm or tension in their voices as the game came down to the final plays.

I know espen had control of this, but I'd much rather have heard Gus Johnson and anyone vs. those two last night. They were way off their game.

 

They were so sad that the SEC didn't win.
