Either start Lin, or bring in a new starting PG, Bev ain't cuttin' it.

It's ironic isn't it. When people were pointing out that Mchale was overplaying Harden last season and risking injury they were all LOFs. Now he is having an injury plagued season, I wonder what all hose 'true Rockets fans' have to say for themselves now?

It's funny how the people who make the most noise about Lin fans see everything through a Lin coloured lens themselves.

Man, if Lin can play this kind of defense consistently and chip in about 6-8 assists a game, not to mention the 10-15 pts he's almost a lock for...

For what? Not 6th man of the year, so many guys balling this year. Klay Thompson, Jamal Crawford, even Swaggy P is killing it

Funny how people now think Lin is a good defender when he has ALWAYS been a good defender, this night was just great defense! Beverley never deserved the starting spot and should be coming off the bench, but again: it's simply because we need scoring and leadership off the bench which Jeremy can provide.

Jeremy is a good defender against guards who attack, if he is guarding 3pt shooting threats off the ball, he drifts away giving up open shots.

When Jeremy is ON the ball, he is good, it is his discipline off the ball that needs work.

Beverley is starting over Lin is because Lin is not part of Rockets' future plan. If not because of Lin's contract, he would be behind AB. Just accept this and move on.

He played excellent D tonight against Parker, hopefully he could sustain that

Jeremy Lin should keep starting because he is Asian. That's why I'll watch him.

He helps looking for steals, there are some players you can't help off of EVER....

And Jeremy does not have that personal discipline yet.

I mean you NEVER leave Calderon - just stick to him and let Howard guard the paint.

8 assists, 1 turnover, repeat ONE turnover, 13 points, 2 blocked shots and the guy he guarded, one of the top PGs in the game went 3-11. So where are those people who were going on and on and on and on and on and on and on about Lin's 5 TOs and 2 assists tonight? Parker was contained and he didn't have a strong game and Lin didn't have his best shooting game but made really good passes and still did not facilitate enough as far as I'm concerned. And he did this WITH Harden.

His defense wasn't bad tonight, that is true, but he has shown himself to not be a good defender.

Maybe he has turned a corner, who knows.

He still shot 50% from the field and from 3pt range.

You have to realize that Beverly can't run the second unit. Thats it. Pbev's defense is good enough to play as a starter, and Harden is essentially the PG out there. Lin still plays 30+ minutes barring injury, and a lot of that is with both units. We should be happy that both are on our team with an Aaron Brooks to come in once in awhile to provide an offensive spark. While I also think Lin should start, that second unit is just awful without a PG that can help run things. This is better for the team, plus Lin still plays a lot. The coaches know what he can provide on this team, you can't deny talent on the court. Either way once Pbev comes back we will still be a deadly team.

A word from Mchail would definitely do the trick. Lin isn't the guy who ignores his coach.

If he keeps on playing D like tonight, he can start on any NBA team.
