The ORCs from Mordor are at full force tonight. Lin was good on offense but dude gave up 30+ points on stupid bonehead plays. Lin will even admit that but his sorry ass fans can't even think of it.

This really needs to be taken to the Dragic Lin Lowry tracking thread. Dragic plays for Phoenix, not the Rockets now.

Last season it was the opposite. This team played its best in the second half. A lot has changed since then.

you know you're just as bad as them right? smdh what's this supposed to prove? When a team gets a popular player theres always going to be those illogical fans who think they're godly. Instead of picking them out just ignore them, goodness

Oh DaDakota and LosPollosHemanos, did I miss out any other threes that were caused by Lin leaving his man open? You guys did say 5-6 threes were a result of Lin leaving his man wide open. I only counted 3.

How did the guys look? Does Parsons move well? Did Lin look healthy? Notice anything about the defense seeing the live action that wasn't talked about here? Anyone jawing at each other or McHale getting into any player?

hey look dirk scored 31, carter 16, and crowder 11! but who cares? Let's all blame our PGs for all our defensive shortcomings!

    /clutchfans

We lost because our PG's dont get a high number of assists.

    /clutchfans

Bev is not starting material, thats why we're losing games

    /clutchfans

how pathetic some of these posters are

McHale needs to cut this it's the players league crapout and lay down the law. That was one of the defensive efforts of the year. The Spurs will score a 140 if we take this crap to San Antonio.

Lol, that's not just because of Eric. The coaching change is the biggest difference, the second is manegement. McDonough managed to really turn the team around with his talent recognition and hiring of staff. Going from Lindsy Hunter to Hornacek is like night and day, from in game coaching standpoint and from player development standpoint. Team is being pulled forward by players like Gerald Green, Morris brothers, Miles Plumlee, Channing Fry. All perecived busts and write-offs, that Jeff managed to develop and properly use.

Goran and Eric outsat most of the last quarter against the lakers today, because Miles had a 17pts 20reb game, Green scored 22 and Morris 19 - all of them higher than either pointguard. And tonights night was not an exception.

Right, but you got to address the real issue here. I watched the game and the clear reason for what happened once again was the lack of ball movement. Garcia got 6 shots and 5 of them from 3pt area concerting only one. However, Casspi had only 2 FGAs (of which one was an unclear potential pass to Dwight) making 1 of them. Casspi never got the ball to shoot the 3-pointer. He's not going to score if he doesn't get the ball. There was no shortage of penetration attempts.

In other words, the Rockets should be able to score with small team as well as long as the 3-point threat is real. Dallas saw that the team is not going to shoot the 3-pointer (only 19 attempts compared to Dallas 22) and was able to keep penetrations in check.

If not for any help defense, it would have become a Mavs layup line and Dirk would have scored 50 points with Casspi, Parsons, and Garcia on him. If someone goes to double, someone else is supposed to rotate over to cover the man he left open.
    That's team defense.
