I can understand the reservations about his contract, but hopefully somebody can drill into his head that he is largely in a prison of his own making. Act like a b!tch = drive down your trade value = we ain't finna trade you for peanuts = turn that frown upside down & play to your true ability as long as we need you to, kthxbai.

 

MKG has bust written all over him, or he's a very long project. Charlotte is the perfect setting for him.

 

After it's all said and done, we weren't gonna get anything much better than Asik himself. Omer Asik is what this team needs anyhow. Hopefully he wisens up, realizes that we tried to do him a solid to fulfill his request, and gets back to being a team player. If he buys into a building a contender, this non-trade is the best thing that could have happened.

Other teams know that Morey isn't willing to keep $20 million in salary do nothing but wearing a suit @ games. There will be a trade, but the question is what are we getting in return.

It sounds like Morey might be forced to sell Asik @ rock bottom price, like an expiring and a 2nd round pick, but he will fight like hell not to be stuck with a bad deal.
