    Even having an "entire cult" of fans can't explain how he's the 2nd most searched NBA player on Google. He's even higher than Kobe and D-Rose, and both of them were big news this year.

    Kobe's more popular than Lin is in Asia.

    I doubt it. Google isn't even the first (or second) most popular search engine in China.
