yea exactly. it sucks because it drives his price down, not alot but still it goes down. we will likely still have to wait untill atleast the 15th of december. i expect lots of PR by morey and the rockets. talks of trying to make it work out.
Knowing he is unhappy and wants out will force other teams to lowball us offers. I say don't rush any trades, maybe even until offseason. Tell them we do t *need to trade him and give a presentable offer.
Wait wait!! its just ESPN making stuff up again because they are bias against the ROCKETS!!! ITS from unnamed sources!! ITS ESPN HATING HOUSTON AGAIN!! oh its from the chron, nm then.
Well, it seems imminent now. No surprise. Had to try it though. I am sure the phones will be busier than usual over the next few days/weeks. I don't even mind getting pennies on the dollar in a trade, as long as it 90-95 pennies
Rockets gave him the break of his NBA career ... he's ungrateful, I think. He was happy with TT as long as he starts even when we lose. But the moment he no longer starts, he wants out? Still he should be a professional and play as hard as he can while he's still with the Rockets.
Asik will get traded for a borderline all-star or a good player with a team option next season. Draft picks too.
I think Al Jefferson would work well with this roster. Does Charlotte do it, and who else can the Rockets give to make the money work?
Ungrateful?! If I was in Asik's position I'd do the same thing, honestly. A big man of his caliber can't be wasting his best years sitting on the bench.
