I wouldn't be surprised if Lin kept shooting >50% 3PT. The way he's doing it does not feel flukey at all.

 

Perfect post. It is just growing pains. These guys will take sometime to improve there decision making. They are all so young. And this team is a young team. Be patient and enjoy the ride.

Hes gotta do a better job protecting the ball - but it seems like he was fouled on 3 or 4 of the plays. WTF

McHail put Lin back way to earlier...and because no one could make a basket besides Lin was another culprit.

 

He said "we", what the hell do you want him to say.

 

Kinda sucks not having your best player. lin had a great shooting night with the start but harden would have gotten us the win IMO

No I think Philly is this year's Rockets. You know...was expected to do terrible and surprising everybody by running and gunning instead? Went from the team that shot the most midrange shot from last year to running an efficient offense around the 3 and paint shots?

My two cents- Lin came up big but bad defense Anderson. Size difference or not, still bad. Should have went with Lin in closing minutes though.

McHale messed up badly. There's no other way of saying it.

It was a bad lost since we could have won it but in the end it's not the end of the world. Rockets still 5-4, and chemistry is slowly being built. A man's character is shown in the face of adversity and Rockets will either bounce back or end up failing.

 

This plus Asik. Did he forget they played a double OT game with basically the same players a couple nights ago?

James showed flashes of his ability driving to the rim when he was here, but did not give a impression of his 3pt shooting... Only if Morey had seen it.

Two impeding factors I saw with this matchup...Lin too quick for Anderson and Anderson to big and strong verus Lin. But both of them were on fire when the shot cause no one could stop them.

 

This isn't exclusive to Lin. People don't realize but Lin was playing the "Harden" role tonight. That is why both Lin & harden have a ton of TO's because everything runs through that SG position when it isn't running through Dh12. McHale has to switch it up and not overburden just that SG whether it be Lin or Harden. Let the PG do more and don't just rely on the SG.

I no for a fact he was hacked on 3-4 plays
