I doubt it's anything like this. Beverley is just making fun of how serious Dwight looked while being interviewed.

Good to have guys like Beverley and Garcia on the roster, they don't get too high or too low whether things go well on the court or not.

It's partially colored by reading the game thread (I didn't watch the first half) and people saying that Jeremy and Dwight had some tension. When I started watching the game, I didn't see the tension per se but also didn't see a lot of chemistry (other than Lin, TJones and Bev bear hugging each other).

Lastly, that's just my read of Beverley's intent. Why he interjected in the middle of an interview. That's what peace-makers do - you defuse tension by dealing with it head on (i.e. don't let it brood, and call it out when you see it). Dwight also loves the attention so I thought it worked well.

Anyways, just a vibe. Maybe I'm completely off.

Might be this as well. Hopefully this is the beginning of a good streak.

    He was actually
    1/3 in the 4th
    0/2 in 1st OT
    2/3 in 2nd OT
    He made some freethrows though.

Lin was the clutch one tonight.

    3/5 in the 4th
    2/3 in 1st OT
    2/2 in 2nd OT

I don't quite agree to this. While Casspi was on the court the Rockets were up +16 (Casspi's +/- = +16). By far the highest of any other member of the team. He played 26 mins. Casspi has turned into a great facilitator. Whiule Casspi plays the point-forward, the Rockets are organized in the offense and defend well. Casspi did not hit his two 3pt attempts. So what, as long as the guy stays on the court, the Rockets are doing well. He has been on the positive +/- in every Rocket game and often most of all players. In my mind Casspi is essential in organizing the Rockets game on the floor.

complete game from Harden, 26 points, 10 assists while at the same time playing solid D, holding DeRozan to 6-25.

It's amazing what happens when he gives some effort on defense.

What does this even mean? Beverley's role in the starting lineup is more about defensive than offensive contributions. And he gave us some clutch defense in OTs, and that awesome rebound that fouled out Lowry. He stuck onto Lowry after Jeremy let him get away with 2 3ptrs in the 2nd OT. That's what we needed from Beverley and he fulfilled it when we needed it most.

Question: Didn't Dwight have 17 and 10 in the first half?

I like his take on acting like each 3 game stretch is a mini series

He is walking with two injured feet and looked like a 100 year old man. Despite that he played lockdown defense on Derozan, shut him down and had 26-10 and 3 steals. He showed heart.
