This is our 2nd game against the Clippers. The whole team is playing better just because we learned from the first time.

Beverley's first game against Paul and he's locking him up pretty well.

    Who cares?

As long as both these guys do well on defense I am happy. And tonight both these guys are doing a great job!

Though it is Chris Paul so he will probably heat up a bit.

This thread needs to die. Bev did a superb job on Paul.

Don't know who to vote. Bev was very good on Paul but Lin was better the last few games. I guess it all depends on the match up. Lin can't guard quick pg. Bev pressures too much which is good but easy to get blown by if he's half step slower.

If you don't know that Bev is a better defender, then it's pointless to try to convince you.

Yes, by a ****ING country mile.

Lin left Crawford all alone for 2 big killer threes as he was sagging off again...he has some of the worst discipline in off the ball defense guarding his man that I have ever seen.

The guy just drifts and ignores his man and hopes to recover, just undisciplined....and tonight it hurt...a lot.

I love watching Beverley play defense, but his 4th foul really killed the team. He has to do a better job controlling his aggressiveness and preventing the stupid fouls.

They're both pretty even imo, but the one thing Beverley has over Lin is that he'll rattle whoever he's guarding. He'll unashamedly get under the other guy's skin and force a couple of dumb plays.

    Bev -12
    Lin +1

    So much for that.

Oh and just so we are clear.

Rockets 4-1 Lin as the starter.
Rockets 0-2 Bev as the Starter.

Where are the Bev "he should start because we win with Bev as the starter" crew?

Damn man, with those flawless analytics you just provided it is crystal clear that Jeremy Lin should be the starter. I'm not even sure why we argue about who starts when we have future GMs in waiting with such deep analytics at our fingertips. I suppose we will have to hope the Rockets new state of the art cameras they installed will provide Morey and McHale with the same info you were able to procure so that they are finally able to make the right decision about the Point Guard position.

I'm a fan of Lin but even I think he's better off being the 6th man. Bev just fits better with that first unit. His on ball defense is good. Lin's d has become pretty good. Offensively they just offer different things

Amazing that Geniuses like you and the Beverly Jockers continue to use to justify him starting.

Small games samples be damned when you want to prop up Bev. Use them against him, and its all "Whoa...WTF"

Horrible games by Bev, and its "Ahhh he was hurt, coming off injury, his mortgage payment is late"

Horrible game by Lin and its "You freaking suck...go back to Asia"

Where are all the crybabies, crying about Lin's D all year last year? When we have that atrocious matador of a defender in Harden on the floor.

What about Lins shooting percentage? His lack of using his left?

Hilarious you Beverly Jockers will use anything you can to knock on Lin, but turn a blind eye on players like Harden and Bevs and Parson.

Win a game, have 29 points 8 assists and 2 turnovers and your coach is all "Im trying to tell Lin we are trying to win here"

Facts are facts. Lin is the better PG than Bev, but for some odd reason, fools here think that Lin isn't.

You guys aren't Rocket fans anymore than the LOF's. You have your own agenda's.

I just want what is best for the team and for the team to win. You just want LOF's to leave.....hypocrites.
