who ever said Parsons was going to be a star? he is however, the ultimate complimentary player. and by "complete player," i meant that he can shoot from the 3 and he can slash and finish at the rim. not many guys can fill that void, let alone at a bargain bin price.

Classic. LOF bringing Lin into a thread that has absolutely nothing to do with him.

Parsons had a great game today, we don't win without his production.

Parsons is valuable because he is the perfect glue guy for the starting unit. Keep him and win a title with this core.

Parsons is one of the guy we should keep. He can cut, defend, play run and gun, and score with a bang

Parsons is the only proven player we have with a "clutch" gene.

jcmoon, No. Stop. Have you seen Parsons' salary? You can sell high all you want but it has to be a player that makes what he makes. So you give him up for a scrub? Draft picks? Parsons + Asik only gets you a $10M player. It doesn't get you Kevin Durant. After 12 years on the board, I still facepalm every morning after a role player has a great game. Because as I predicted last night, I would be posting in a new thread about trading that player.

If that means we could pair Howard and Harden with either LMA or KLove,I would do it easily.

People who say Parsons is just the glue guy and is overrated, not a future all star, probably don't actually watch the games, Parsons IS the Rocket's third best player, he can create his own shot (goat pumpfake) put the ball on the floor, finish at the rim or make the right pass, his jumper is also line driver and streaky.

His athleticism is also underrated, sometimes hes shows flashes of Lebron James type speed and acrobatic finishes at the rim.
