the poor in this country are pathetic, they dont really know poverty. We give them phones + free food + cheap housing + money until they find jobs + disability after when they cant find a job.

these chumps wouldnt survive a month of "being poor" in india so i say screw them and their cushy "poor" life in the US. its absolutely disgusting how we keep taking more and more from the hard workers to support these losers

Poors in America have phones and food stamps. They are likely in the top 50% of worldwide income (somebody fact check that for me).

 

Your point would somewhat make sense if poor people actually had a chance to make good lives for themselves in America, upward mobility right now in the USA is nearly impossible, in fact it's statistically improbable moreso now than any time in the last 100 years.

I personally know an illegal immigrant who lives with his wife, 6 kids, and another on the way. His oldest just graduated high school. His youngest is about 6 months old. It seems like as soon as one turns 18 theres another on the way to keep the money rolling. Does the state not raise a red flag on people like this? Personally it disgusts me that he smooches off of is US born children and us tax payers.
