I think that's just the way it seems right now cause nba.com hasn't loaded any of their content yet. It shows that "you are already enrolled" but then it takes you back to the screen where it asks you to enroll and activate again. That's simply because they don't have the main menu available and link to the LPBB player available yet. The guy from Verizon told me that he is under the impression that it wont actually show up until the end of the month. The way that you can tell if your all-access account is working is to login at NBA.com, then your name should show up at the top of the screen, click your name, and then go the "Audio League Pass" section. If you see game audio for today loaded up, you then know that your account is active, and when they load the LPBB player at the end of the month, you should have access to it. If you dont see any of this, and it wont log you in, I'd suggest setting up a new nba.com account, and re-activating your LPBB info later on this month. Just a poor business decision. Its like McDonalds not serving ketchup with their french fries, but telling you that Burger King has ketchup if you'd like to go across the street and get ketchup from them.
If I download NBA game time from Google Apps on my phone, it says I can purchase League Pass Mobile for $50. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.
I live in austin are rockets games blacked out on league pass? Or spurs? Mavs? Anyone in austin know? BTW i am using a houston credit card address or should i paypal? Thank you.
Just make sure you remember to cancel League Pass at the end of the season - they auto-renew each year.
Can anyone explain how to use league pass? I just purchased the one for the TV/Broadband/Mobil. Can you watch preseason games with it? What about for TV, can you choose which games you want to watch?
This must be an american thing, they don't for the international (i assume because it's illegal in several countries)
Or if you move and switch cable providers. Or if you want to go from Broadband to the TV package or vice versa.
what about in the Rio Grande Valley? I'm thinking even if I get LP, the Rox are still gonna be blacked out..
does auto renew apply to cable tv package or broadband only? cable provider wouldn't matter as far as broadband goes. if you switched to cable package you would get broadband included.
No offense, I just find this rather silly but did you honestly not ask your cable/satellite provider about the TV portion? Depending on your provider, you may or may not get pre-season games, they are usually in a certain block of channels. On DirecTV they are in the 700's, and every game that is not blacked out (during regular season) will be available on those channels. To activate your NBA League Pass broadband after buying from your cable/satellite provider go to www.nba.com/leaguepass and go to "activate TV", and it will have you enter your account information.
I bought League Pass in Austin, Tx via TWC. I moved back to Houston in the middle of the season. Obviously, you can't transfer the TV portion of it, but my league pass broadband account remained active until the end of the regular season.
The auto renew is through some cable providers. TWC did not auto renew my LP every year, and Verizon while they sent a note saying they did... actually didn't, and had to order manually again this year.
Btw, if you order league pass via DirecTV, my username is finally authenticated for the league pass broadband portion. However, LPBB isn't doing pre-season. I am however getting pre-season games on actual TV though. Works great!
is nbatv the same as nba league pass? when can you start using nba league pass? sorry, don't want to read through all the pages of posts
No NBATV is a premium cable channel. its 24/7 NBA coverage, but doesn't cover more than 1 or 2 NBA games a day during the season and during primetime. NBA league pass is an "on-demand" style cable package. It shows every game and starts at the start of the regular season. NO PRESEASON GAMES are shown on league pass. Most of the cable networks are still running other on-demand programming on those stations during the late Summer/Fall.
TV you should be able to watch it on TV through your channel guide/menu. I've been able to watch pre-season games on there. Through NBA.com, you login through their main website. I think you can watch the games also by downloading NBA Silverlight. Still has restrictions, blackouts and national tv. Broadband, mobile, XBOX, etc you just download the NBA Gametime App and login through your TV provider information.
