I thought Harden and Dwight looked terrible. Did they even run any pick and roll plays together?

 

Also D-Mo looking good on offense was still getting pushed around by Dwight for the rebound...then again it is Dwight. I dunno how I feel about that. Jones looking great.

Note:

1. We've only seen them split into teams twice, with this time the first we've seen them actually play. However, both times, Casspi/Covington were the PFs on Dwight's team.

2. I am suspecting the reason why they haven't allowed media to see practice footage is because they are bringing Dwight along slowly, and there is no point in showing him struggle. He is still learning the offense, getting used to his teammates etc. There is nothing to gain by letting media see this, and could potentially pour some cold water on the early excitement.

Even now, we see the team is still working on how to get the ball to Dwight, leading to some turnovers. Expect a slow process, mass panic on CFans, and week to week and month to month improvement.

3. How the hell did White team win?

 

Harden looked like he was playing street ball, lost handles one play, no court vison trying to get the ball to Howard - I'm not scared to say it, and I know it's just a scrimmage that what's I'm talking about this 9mins not him as a player in general

 

Brewer should be good. I liked him out there.

The training camp is as always about lesser known players. Howard, Asik (when back) Harden, Parsons and Lin are well known commodities. They will naturally defer to the players the coaches are evaluating for roster positions. Nothing to worry about. They and the coaches know they could dominate.

 

Why cannot harden go back to be the 6th man? What is so crazy about that?

 

Because Harden is a more dangerous scorers and should be on the court most of the time?

 

A coach famous as a PF likes to go small. Does not look right.

 

I do not think the Rockets were trying to shield Howard's play. He is physically gifted and experienced enough to dominate such practices. Harden and Parsons also took conspicuously lesser roles. Do not confuse practice with what will actually happen in the season. As always the stars shine.
