Big Krit talked to a reporter saying "thanks for the promotion" etc.. http://www.hiphopdx.com/index/news/...-kendrick-lamar-s-verse-on-big-sean-s-control No a diss track tho.

Verse is very overrated. I love Kendrick, probably my favorite rapper in the game right now but what is he really saying? All he did was namedrop a bunch of rappers and now everyone is responding. Not even a top 10 Kendrick Lamar verse. Moreover Drake has had better verses this year on 5AM in Toronto, much more witty and subliminal.
Joell was impressive. Slaughterhouse are amazing when they're inspired or pissed off... Especially Crooked I.
lol. Versace, Versace, Versace ... I did like the guitar at the end. I love that Kendrick Lamar started this. This is what raps needs... the ones that don't belong either fall back because their responses will suck or they will fall back because others stepped up. Loved Ortiz's response.
Or people could just not respond at all and do their own different thing instead of trying to prove something. Honestly, of all the people that Kendrick called out, the only one I actually think makes good music is Big K.R.I.T. And his response was: "Thanks for the promotion!". I'm not really a fan of Kendrick's either. His 1st album was extremely boring and Good Kid, Maad City only had 1 or 2 tracks that I enjoyed.

I think this is going over most people's heads from what I see. This could be/is HUGE for the hiphop game.
good verse but dont see what the big deal is at all.. Everlast- Whiteys revenge Nas- Ether those are some personal diss tracks that would cause way more hype if they were released now
I love Lamar's music. Started listening since Section 80 and thought he was a dope rapper among the few I consider future heavyweights. The verse is sick too but the only thing that I heard that can be taken for a diss is the NY part. Which Ortiz quickly made a disgusting rebuttal. If anything people should be complaining about how awful Big Sean is..big bowl of awful. You want proof that this is not a real issue. First is J Cole, KRIT, and Kendrick. I think Kendrick got everybody on this song but Cole and KRIT held their own. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/9K5GMAhxjR4" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Next song is Kendrick and KRIT. Kendrick part is at 1:00 and KRIT's is at 4:47. KRIT murdered everybody on this song. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/nU4OIAYwo5g" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> This is still fun to watch and listen to though. You want a diss to anybody. I'll take Luda's open diss to anybody (it was really T.I.) Was one of the sickest. This is old Luda...... Miss this Luda. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/z5aBTkH_45U" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> *Just remembered this cypher. Best is KRIT, Kendrick, and BOB. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/tz4dvYTdlxI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
