    Normally you don’t get a lot of sound bites out of a interview on the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” but Cuban gave a lot of interesting quotes. He blasted Bud Selig and his ‘mafia’ for their unfair handling of Alex Rodriguez and his attempts to keep Cuban out of baseball.

    Leno asked Cuban about Dwight Howard.

    “I don’t know if I almost had him or not,” Cuban said.

    He also said Howard made a mistake not choosing the Mavericks.

    “I like to go for the fences. And with the Mavericks, we’re trying to get better. One of the best free agents on the market, obviously, was Dwight Howard. I thought we had a chance. We spent a lot of time putting together a really cool presentation. He went to the Houston Rockets, made a huge mistake.”

    He added in his usual praise for power forward and friend Dirk Nowitzki, which was met with a lot of applause from the crowd.

    uh no. he avoided a big mistake by going to houston instead of dallas.

    I made a mistake clicking on this thread and listening to Mark Cuban babble on about how is franchise is so great.
    No offense to OP of course, just call me a "Duck Fallas Man".

    If you watch the video, he wasn't really implying anything, about Houston, specifically. He had a grin on his face, so he was just saying it was a big mistake because he passed on Dallas.
