When you got a superstar like Jeremy Lin then number 1 no doubt.

#1 If Dwight commits to the pick and roll and doesn't ask for many post-ups.

If we get PPat back, not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4...We'll win the UNIVERSE.

Nah, he's just a LOH pretending to be a BOF.

3rd, behind Heat and Spurs. I didn't add OKC because we has victories against them with mediocre teams.

    1. Miami
    2. OKC
    3. Houston

    4. SAS - they might be ahead of us in the regular season standings, but they crippled themselves by not jettisoning Manu and overpaying Splitter. Duncan is gonna have to decline at some point, and unless my eyes fail me he gave the last of his juice in those game 6 and 7's in the Finals. On top of it all, it's an even year. They're toast.

    5. NJN - I used to think superold-superstar teams like the Nets could be threats, but then the 2013 Lakers happened. And so did the 2004 Lakers. And even the 1997 Rockets. Thus, I have no faith in the Nets. Old folks decline, that's what they do. It's one thing to have old folks riding young horses and showing them how to win, but another thing entirely when the old folks ARE the horses.

    6. LAC - It's stupid how people are saying the Clippers improved a ton this year. What really happened? They added Redick, Dudley, and Collison and lost Bledsoe, Butler, and Billups. I'm sorry, but unless there's something cursed about the letter B then that feels like shuffling the chairs on the deck of the Titanic to me. For the quality of play they provided last year, those departees were pretty good for the Clipps. Paul re-signed and is a year older, whoop de doo. Blake Griffin in theory should be getting better with older age, but what skill exactly has he cultivated since he entered the NBA? That athleticism will only get you so far. Rivers will improve their performance in the playoffs simply by not holding them back the way Del Negro did, but that team last year was a team that was already close to maxing out. Without a lock down defender to sick on James Harden (Matt Barnes? Lol) then they are not gonna match up well against us. (FYI Beverly is the guy we're gonna play the most when the other team has an elite level PG. That's why we're showcasing him so much this offseason.)

Eighth. I think Miami, San Antonio, Oklahoma City, LA Clippers, Memphis, Indiana, and Chicago are ahead of us. Golden State, New York, and Brooklyn probably feel like they're up there, too.

Funny that you mention Brooklyn, New York and GS as being equal to us. We were 7 and 1 against those teams last season and we added the best center in the game. I'm going on the belief that we continue our dominance over those teams.

We were superior to Chicago last season and they added Rose but we added D12. Advantage = Houston

I'm just going to type it....

Houston is the best in the West! That's right, I typed it!

I have the Heat, Thunder, Clippers, and Spurs definitely ahead of us. The Bulls could be up there too depending on their health and the way Rose comes back. But after that I think we're right there. A surefire Top 10 team with potential to be Top 5.
