Loved how he played in the playoffs and happy to have him back especially for the vet min, but in looking at his stats, i dont think he is a knock down shooter we think hik to be.

Yep, and they're much easier to give when the deal is very small (as in this case). I really like this. Especially because we still have the MLE to use on a backup center (if we trade Omer) or for a backup shooting guard.
For the vet min., this was a great signing. Another great acquisition by Morey. Dwight / Asik / Smith DMo / TJones / Covington Parsons / Harden / Garcia Lin / Beverly / Canaan Sign Corey Brewer with Room Exception. We're really gonna need DMo, TJones, and Lin to all step up their games this year.
He showed his leadership and was a calming presence for the young guys last season. He takes the initiative to make others better on and off the court.
