I benn reading "In Morey We Trust" for years now.... Honestly it is so annoying!!! But now what is more annoying is people blasting Morey because he hasn't made any moves during the off-season that the fans on Clutchfans.net are clamoring for. Gees, seeing "Fire Morey"... "Morey got Morey'd", etc.... uggggg As long as Morey has the support of Leslie Alexander, all those opinionated fans can just twirl their fingers in disgust. Morey isn't going to handcuff this organization. He's gotten good solid players with reasonable contracts. The team is competitive. The team is in position as long as a FA is willing to offer a max contract. This team needs a Franchise Player. And until they find one, I'm happy with the Rockets low balling role players.
As justx said, 3 years removed from The Yao era, and he's got two superstars in Harden and Dwight. Nuff said.
Much better to get Howard for four years and no trade, than as a rental (and probably not getting Harden) last year.
