Look, I was a fan before he got to Houston and absolutely loved having him in a Rocket uniform, but any thought of bringing him back at this point is a bad thought. I don't see anything positive that he could add. But if he does somehow come back here, I'll be rooting the Rocket's and T-Mac's success.

I don't hate him like some do on this board. In fact I supported him years ago but that ship sailed away years ago. Unless he is willing to take minimum wage and I am not talking about the vets minimum but the real minimum wage... Then no. Why would we give money to someone to sit on the bench during a recession. Heck we already have Lin doing that.

As a T Mac fan I dont want him back in Houston. He was one of the greatest players to wear a Houston jersey and his legacy should be left as that.

I would not mind T-Mac coming back as a bench player as he was for spurs. He would be a good mentor anyway.

Haha, every year one of these threads pops up lol. Not gonna happen.

Actually, Steve played well for a bit, but then he got injured, missed some time, and was in Rick the Ruler's doghouse lol.

Yeah!! We need some of that attitude on the Rockets! ;)

    Dear god no.
"OK Parsons, you're not taking enough fadeaway long 2's. Parsons what are you doing attacking the rim? Pull up for a fadeaway! Parsons, what are you doing? We don't play defense in the NBA."

Too late, T-Mac is taking his skills to Miami. He will now take over juwan Howard's role.
    The 3 peet is inevetiable.

It would be nice to see him involved with the organization in some way but I could never imagine him coaching. I'm guessing he goes unsigned well into the 2013-14 season. Can't see him going to a training camp and playing a pre-season.

T-Mac is still good idk why people thinks he sucks. His passing skills are still really high. He can take jumpshots with ease still. He would be a nice 10-20 min player in my opinion. I think he's a great option if we end up landing Howard and another star.

The real legacy of Tracy McGrady is his fans

He and his cult like loyal fans are on the same page on what if situations in his career and they are delusional enough to believe he'll be the same player he once was. They believe you are entitled to things not that you have to work hard and earn them

it's like Linus in the pumpkin patch

I'm not sure if there is a great deal of sarcasm in this thread, or you guys are being serious.

At this point I'd rather have Cuttino Mobley back.
