I'm actually there right now. They didn't have red curry on the lunch menu so opted for panang. I'll report back It was very delicious
this place called Amys kitchen in arizona. The owner was this old loud ass jewish guy that kept trying to start fights with everyone. The chef had crazy eyes and the hair of a lion
Best Burger in Stafford. Actual burger: yummy, very well done, a little messy (in a good way) Ambiance -- fairly ghetto. Actually had a semi-hard time finding a decent looking spot to sit. Had nothing to put ketchup on so I used a napkin. You're probably better off doing takeout. 9/10 for food, 8/10 for value, 1/10 for everything else.
Opal Divines in N. Austin for lunch today. Had a hamburger with bacon and provolone. It was excellent. 9/10
I love that place and their oyster nachos are the bomb!!!! Ate at D&B today, actually wasn't too bad, 7/10 had their chicken and Shrimp rockefeller and appetizer plate...
Foodie here, reporting in as ordered, sir. Finally made it to Uchi's when I was in town for the playoffs. Got the Chef' menu. It was: s t u n n i n g l y g o o d I'll just say right now. Best chefs menu I have ever had in Houston. Plus one of the dishes breaks into my top 5 of all time. Everything was very memorable and perfect I'm on a flight right now on mobile so will recite the courses later. Also went to another top restaurant in Buckhead last night - Kyra. Atlanta is a foodie town for sure. Interesting Greek restaurant
Jimmy John's. Always hits the spot when I'm too lazy to cook or sit down somewhere. The #11 is my usual go-to. 8.5/10
I just got back from the Olive Garden in Times Square. It. Was. Awesome. They served a pasta dish with Alfredo sauce that featured real pasta!
Carrabas - 4/10 Didn't this place used to be decent? The food was weak from beginning to end. My pasta dish looked like spaghetti o's.
Gotham Bar and Grill, 12th St, Manhattan. Had an amazing pork chop. My dad had farm raised ribeye. We had a lot of wine. 9.5/10 only because while my chop was reasonably priced ($32) for NY, my Dad's steak was friggin $85...and not as good as my chop.
i just took a look at their menu online. No prices on any of the dishes. wth? is it the same in the restaurant?
Just got done at Jarro Cafe on Gessner. My only previous experience had been with the Jarro food truck in my neck of the woods south of the freeway, but I definitely recommend going to the real thing. I got 3 tacos: the pastor, the tinga, and the suadero. The best in my opinion was the pastor which is pork. But the rest were great as well. They give you chips and six different types of salsa to use. Overall it was very good and I suggest it if you like tacos 7/10
