Asik, Josh Smith, Harden, Lin and Parsons Bench: TRob, Delfino, Beverley, DMo and Terrence Jones.. The Rockets wont pay Josh the max for sure...but I think he takes a pay cut to come to Houston... If Josh flames out, the Rockets will look at Pau for a year rental, and wait for Love or Lemarcus...
Slowly trying to mirror the 95 team with a 2014 basketball influence. Center = Asik.....postion needs an offensive upgrade pf = position needs exactly what Horry gave us in 95 sf = Parsons gives us what Elie did sg = Harden gives us more than Drexler pg = less turnovers better 3 pt efficency
this is a prayer to be answered 1.beverley 2.harden 3.parsons 4.kevin love 5.asik i also like the idea of whoever had lamarcus aldridge on theirs
Howard is obviously better then Asik but Love is way better then all of our PFs. With Love and Asik in the front court no one will ever get a rebound against us.
Lin/Beverly Harden/Dudley Parsons/Anderson Love/Farkan Howard/Pachulia Howard as free agent, sign and trade Robinson Dudley for Smith in a salary dump Love for Asik, Jones and Dmo Pachulia for bout 5 mil Sign Farkan for less than a mil Unfortunately cut or let go Brooks, Delfino, Garcia, Olbrecht, and White Didn't say it had to be the most realistic possibility.
Either way, when Asik went to the bench we got terrible. I actually would like to pick up Zaza Pachulia as cheap as possible. He's coming off a major injury so we could get a real deal. He was only making 6 mil before the injury. Also, I DO think Dudley is obtainable as a salary dump for Pheonix and we need a backup 2 guard that can defend and shoot decently.
Aside from kidnapping him, how do you suppose the Rockets would acquire Kevin Love? Of course he's better than all of our PFs. He's better then pretty much every actual PF in the league. He's a top10 player and while the Wolves may trade him at some point (and it may be this summer), it isn't a simple issue of packaging up Beverly and Greg Smith and calling it a day. A package for Love would likely cost Asik and Parsons to begin with, which would greatly change the way the team plays.
