What a beast. Played unbelievable defense on Durant and his 3 point shooting has been crucial in the last two wins.
I was down on both Garcia and Brooks early in this series, but they've really stepped up. So glad I was so wrong about them both being able to help the team.
Hard to believe Francisco Garcia is the most productive player to come out of the Robinson-Patterson trade. Gutsy performance. Respect
He made that three with the shot clock expiring, so I think he's good. Well to be fair, Garcia isn't going to get paid 6 million by the Rockets or anybody else next season unfortunately.
Yeah I know. Can we turn down the team option and then resign to a small contract, or do we have to wait a certain amount of time? (that's implying Garcia accepts a pay cut)
Yep. I think a lot of people questioned the Brooks acquisition, but this series on both sides showed just how critical PG depth is. Their is something especially enjoyable when he obliterates Fisher off the dribble. He needs to knock down some of those 3s, but we know he can do that. The ability of Brooks, Beverly, and Parsons to create shots for themselves every so often is what has separated us from OKC. Reggie Jackson has done it sporadically, but Martin has really struggled, and a guy like Sefolosha is a really flawed offensive player. I was with you in thinking Anderson should be ahead of Garcia in the rotation, but he's proved his worth and then some. Parsons had a quieter game today, but Garcia taking primary responsibility on Durant freed up Parsons to expend his energy on the offensive end. I don't think we win game 4 if Parsons is on KD.
