After the Marlins and Mets finished up a 15-inning affair, the Angels and A's are currently in the 16th.
Angels and A's going to the 18th. The announcer was getting pissy in the bottom of the 17th. The pitch is caught and the guy says right down the middle for a ball. Cracked me up!
I guess Brandon Moss really wanted some sleep. Angels and A's were 1 out from the 20th when he ended it with a 2-run shot.

Yasiel Puig...this guy is going nuts in L.A. If the Dodgers turn around their season, it might be partly because of the talent this guy brings and partly from the overall team attitude change he has helped usher in. Happened to tune into last nights LA/ATL game in the 8th and listening to Vin Scully call this grand slam was awesome. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/klL566fpSHM" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Dodgers/Diamondbacks to open next year in Sydney. The Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks will open the 2014 season in Sydney, according to Australian newspaper The Daily Telegraph. Neither the Dodgers nor Major League Baseball has made an announcement about such a move. The games will be played on March 22 and 23 at the fabled Sydney Cricket Ground and will be the first Major League Baseball games to be played in Australia. It has become traditional for baseball to open its season abroad, but until now it had played official games only in Mexico and Japan. According to the newspaper, the cricket grounds will be transformed into an MLB field, with the addition of infield clay, a pitcher's mound, dugouts and additional grandstands, and could net the state government there 13 million Australian dollars ($12.4 million). The series was announced by Australian politician Barry O'Farrell.
