yeah looks like thats the direction we're headed with him. hes starting to defy his dad...called his dad out for other stuff. prob end badly for him shortly
I hope Carl dies a thousand deaths. Cannot stand that kid. He thinks he's so damn cool and badass. He needs to be put in his place.
I think Beth should leave the group and the series transitions into a reality show about her survival. "All About Beth"
Awesome season finale for lots of reasons, although I was expecting more of a cliffhanger at the end. Scratching my head over choosing to integrate the new group at the prison instead of in Woodbury. I had no idea that I had a foot fetish until seeing that extended scene of Andrea's perfectly manicured feet trying to pick up the pliers. That scene wasn't accidentally shot and edited that way!!
They spent the last several episodes teasing about a coming grand finale and it ended up falling flat IMO. I was getting a little tired of the show and this episode makes me glad it's done for 7 months.
AMC's firing of the showrunner is why the last half of season 3 is bad. If they'd let him do his thing, we would've had a show to end the season with.
After the buildup and telling ourselves "just wait for the finale, just wait for the finale", that was very very underwhelming. Aside from Carl's cheap shot, did the prison group even kill anybody? Did the Governor do the entire job for them? It makes the Governor more psycho, but it's pretty weak for those people to die by being shot in the back rather than in battle with Rick & Co.
i dont see how so many people think carl killed that kid in cold blood. they told him to drop his weapon and instead of doing what they told him to do he started walking towards carl and slowly swinging his gun to him. it was obvious he was going to try and get the jump on him. as much as i detest carl, he acted in self-defense.
Are you Carl? That kid wasn't trying to get the jump on anyone. Let alone with 2 other people pointing their guns at him. Carl shot him in cold blood and it fits perfectly with the direction it appears his character is heading.
I agree with you. Except he should've warned him a 2nd time to drop the gun before firing. It was a disappointing ending to the season overall.
I get why somebody would interpret that scene the other way, but the writers were pretty blatant about telling the audience afterwards that Carl shot him in cold blood. That Carl didn't deny it when Rick confronted him about it and gave his speech about Rick letting people live and it ultimately costing lives tells you all you need to know. Carl is adopting a take no prisoners attitude. No mercy. Sweep the leg. Kill everyone before they have a chance to turn around and kill again. He killed that kid because he was leaving no possibility of that kid coming back and screwing them later, not because the kid was trying something. Please don't let this turn into another "Andrea was driving the ice cream/bread truck".
