I knew the Hornets would blow it. I don't know why the Rockets radio guys were so certain that this would be a Lakers loss.
****ing Pelicans ruining our season. First they beat us, now they blow that huge lead against the Lakers.
Rockets anyone? 20-0 Lakers run to end it. "That's like playing goal line on a Hail Mary"(Kobe wide open dunk) Nicely said Greg Anthony
Only injuries can derail the Lakers from making the playoffs. This was an incredibly inspiring win for them. The Hornets looked like the Keystone Cops on 3 consecutive out of bounds plays: Eric Gordon stepping on the line, Kobe's breakaway dunk (which should be replayed a 100 times on SportCenter) and Artest getting fouled. A complete joke. On Kobe's dunk, the Hornets players collectively defended the wrong rim. Never seen anything like that on any level. Amazing. A 20-0 game-closing run against the Honey Bees.
I'm still dumbfounded on that late out of bounds call on Eric Gordon. The ref took like 2 seconds to call it lol. It looked even more longer in slow mo.
Wow. That was terrible. This loss is completely on the coaching staff of NOH. Same Dwight/Kobe high screen roll with Lopez switching onto Kobe. The Lakers ran that like 5 times in a row. Lopez doesnt have a chance in that situation. Eric Gordon is also crap. For a guy who's supposed to be a big time player he shrunk. The whole team lost composure at the end. The Hornets didnt score for like the last 7 minutes. The big block by Dwight was the one play where the Hornets had some semblance of a set play, sux that Dwight recovered but you can live with that. He wont block that dunk cleanly every single time. Every other possession for them down the stretch was the same crappy pick&roll with no roll, leaving EG or Vasquez stuck in no mans land in mid-range. Just disgusting. That was so effing awful to watch. And the New Orleans fans should be embarrased. The Laker fans completely took over that fourth quarter.
