Just to get a conversation going: In terms of a players actual career or realistic career potential (barring injury), who are the 10 best Rockets since 09-10? Rules: - Player must be on an NBA roster as of 2013 - Player may be current or former Rocket - Player must have played in 82 games games as a pro - Player must have played at least one regular season game with the Rockets I'll start: 1) James Harden 2) Marcus Camby 3) Kevin Martin 4) Shane Battier 5) Chandler Parsons 6) Omer Asik 7) Jeremy Lin 8) Samuel Dalembert 9) Kyle Lowry 10) Trevor Ariza Hon. Mention: Dragic, Brooks, Scola, Landry, Lee, Budinger Considered but missed inclusion: Delfino, Hayes, Patterson Further... My top-10 based on CURRENT performance: 1) Harden 2) Asik 3) Parsons 4) Martin 5) Dragic 6) Lin 7) Lowry 8) Landry 9) Lee 10) Scola And finally, under the above rules (so no rookies considered), my top-10 in 5 years: 1) Harden 2) Parsons 3) Asik 4) Dragic 5) Lin 7) Landry 8) DeMarre Carroll (long shot but could actually happen) 9) Budinger 10) Patterson Thoughts?
I ranked him based off of career statistics (primarily his 36mpg)... ... without it though, he still has career 8/8 avgs despite ~25mpg IMO, if anyone from the first list needs to move up, it'd be Ariza
I take it that that is how they would rank currently, right? What about considering career or realistic (potential) career?
1) James Harden 2) Omer Asik 3) Kevin Martin 4) Luis Scola 5) Chandler Parsons 6) Jeremy Lin 7) Kyle Lowry 8) Aaron Brooks 9) Shane Battier 10) Carl Landry I believe 5 of our best Rockets of recent memory are on the current roster.
