The wife and I each ate 5 lbs of them today at Mardi Gra grill, or Woodrows now, off of Durham. Get there early or its a loooong wait. I haven't found a better place for 'em yet and they have some great beers on tap.
I'm not sure there's a food so overpriced, requiring so much effort to get so little in return, that is worth it. Damn, crawfish is good. Gotta get my yearly fix in.
I don't think it was crawfish but Black Tiger Shrimp.. Huge frigin shrimp whos tail is like a lobster.
I vouch for both LA Crawfish and Boiling Crab. Would rather go to LA Crawfish because the wait isn't bad whereas Boiling Crab you can wait up to 2 hours THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!!!!!
We went to Sam's Boat off Richmond. It was good but they were kinda small. Margaritas were in point though. Happy with my expirience
Second vote of Crawfish and Noodles on Bellaire. Absolutely the best crawfish in Houston. For me Rajun Cajun is about as bland as crawfish can get. I love Boiling Crab for crab and shrimp, but haven't had good luck with crawfish over there.
Sassafras on 1960 and Jones. 5.99 a lb. but WORTH IT! Great size since crawfish season is coming up, or is it already in.... Bad ass crawfish.
Crawfish and Noodles are overrated.. their shrimp is good though.. I like going to Jolynns.. they have some good crawfish with good size right now.. I also been wanting to try Seafood Shoppe out.. I see pictures on instagram and that shiet looks delicious..
