great summary of the guy we are getting and although he has been pretty bad with sac, his rebounding has been good http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=Dpzna9UZazQ#!

Looks like a great defender, rebounder, hustles alot, outruns most guards on transition, great at driving strong to the basket and finishing, terrible on the low post and not much better shooting outside, great at creating steals off pick and rolls and turning it into transition points. I would say Scottie Pippen. Needs more low post moves, better decision making (Perfect for McHale to coach)
I hope Robinson realizes that if he comes here and plays up to his monster potential, the Rockets have a chance of going all the way. W/ Harden playing out of his mind and so many other solid pieces in place, Robinson could really be the difference between a first round exit and making it deep into the playoffs.
Sounds promising. Can't hold his production on SAC against him. Hopefully being in a better situation brings out the best in him. He seemed super excited to be coming to Houston.
what I love about the move: we can have perfectly complementing 4-5 combos. With Asik-DMo and Smith-TRob, 1 defensive/rebounding specialist in each pair, 1 great offensive player in each pair
Absolutely. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on Robinson's poor production as of this year. Tyreke Evans Demarcus Cousins Jimmer Fredette Jason Thompson Does anyone really think these guys are that bad or still can't lead their team to a decent record? It's all about the environment. Put Tyreke or Cousins on team with good coaching and management and they could be franchise players.

Stupid comparison by NBA.com. Whoever wrote that should be fired. Robinson: High motor, high toughness, great athleticism, weak jump shot Patterson: Low motor, low toughness, average athleticism, good jump shot
Agreed, the comparison is off. Assuming Robinson stays on the roster, it will be interesting to see how the Rockets integrate him. None of our PFs are proven. Does Robinson get the start by default? D-Mo was unimpressive in his short stint in the OKC game today, so I doubt McHale will start him. Do we keep the starting lineup we had today with Delfino? What kind of minutes does Robinson get? He's seems to be a good defensive player who hustles, so I imagine he'll see some time.
