7 offensive rebounds for the Grizzlies in the first quarter and ZERO defensive rebounds. OKC shot 12-15 from the field and grabbed the offensive board on all three of their misses. That's crazy.
I don't think I've ever seen ZERO defensive rebounds in a quarter before. And what's even crazier is the rate of offensive rebounding in the game.
For obvious reasons, Memphis clearly isn't ready to play tonight. Hopefully they'll get it going and make a game of it. OKC has a long history of giving up early leads where they totally lose concentration. They don't deal very well with 1st half prosperity. The only difference tonight might be having so many days off along with losing their last game in disappointing fashion.
Crap, I was going to watch the Mavs-GS game, not anymore. lol, what is about to show the world that he's GOF.
What in the world was Westbrook melting down about? They're saying it has something to do with Durant?
I have no idea on the WB thing. I assume it involved a re-enactment of the LOTR, where KD wanted the ball, but WB wanted to keep his precious... there was a lot of traveling involved as well (as will happen in an NBA game.)
'Just when Oklahoma City seemed to be firmly in control, Westbrook started sniping with his teammates after a possession when he posted up along the left side of the lane and eventually got called for a turnover when Bayless stuck with him on defense for 5 seconds. Westbrook then spiked the ball twice while gesturing toward Thabo Sefolosha and Durant that they needed to get open better. He then hollered toward coach Scott Brooks on the bench. Memphis followed his outburst with 10 straight points to make it a game again - with Westbrook getting an early hook during the stretch and heading down the tunnel to the locker room.' http://sports.yahoo.com/news/without-gay-grizzlies-lose-thunder-034845015--nba.html
